Welcome!
St. Catherine's Orthodox Christian Mission
is a pan-Orthodox Community that seeks to serve as another
Orthodox lighthouse in the East Fort Worth area.
With God's help, we strive...
to have a strong cycle of services,
to nurture members of the Body of Christ,
to encourage regular participation in the life of the Church,
to gather often for Christian encouragement and fellowship,
to offer guidance and instruction in the Orthodox Faith,
and to support and work with our sister Orthodox Churches
so together we may fulfill the Great Commission.
We are now at St. Simon of Cyrene Anglican Church located in Fort Worth.
We follow both the Byzantine and OCA typikon and music (in English).

What is the Orthodox Church?
“The Orthodox Christian Church is evangelical, but not Protestant.
It is orthodox, but not Jewish. It is catholic, but not Roman.
It is not denominational, it is pre-denominational.
It has believed, taught, preserved, defended, and died for the
Faith of the Apostles since the Day of Pentecost nearly 2,000 years ago.”
